The UP Against The Wall Boulder Comp will be a modified redpoint competition. We will reset the entire bouldering wall for this event. Each climber will have as many attempts at any problems they choose. Climbers may get partial points for reaching specifically marked holds on some boulder problems.
Event Details
Each competitor will have 2 1/2 hours to climb as much and as hard as they can. The boulder wall will be divided into several climbing zones with multiple problems in each. Climbers will be scored by judges in each climbing zone based on progress or completion of a problem. Spectator seating will be limited and based on First Come & Youth Parent basis.
This competition is NOT for Upper Advance or climbers climbing regularly at a level of v9+). .
