Climbing Merit Badge Program

Join certified instructors at UpTown Climbing for a comprehensive course in all the hands-on requirements for earning the Climbing Merit Badge. The basics of knot tying and safety checks will be covered in our classroom, and on the wall activities will keep scouts engaged and active.

Skills Covered: Figure-8 Knot-Tying, Belay Skills, Rappelling, and Communication.

Requirements: Scouts must provide their merit badge application for the instructor to sign, scouts must be 10 years and older. The class minimum is 5 scouts, and class maximum is 15 scouts.

Registration: Must book 14 days or more in advance, $100 deposit. You can choose two 2-hour sessions, or one 4-hour session. Contact us at info@uptownclimbing.com to register!
